You will fall in love with your Glowmorecandleco Candle, but just like anything there are a few important things you should do to ensure you are truly getting the best experience from your candle.

CREATING A BURN MEMORY

Candles create a memory. When lighting a candle for the first time, it's important to allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the jar. If you don't allow the wax to pool on the first burn, it will begin to tunnel and not reach the outsides of the jar, leaving residue around the sides along with wasted wax and fragrance.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE EACH BURN

Trimming your wick is so important. Trim the wick to approx. 5 mm before relighting. Doing this will allow the candle to burn at the recommended and safe temperature. If it is not trimmed it will mushroom (the curling and black mound at the top of our wick) resulting in it burning hotter. Trimming the wick each time will help your candle to burn evenly and longer, helping to eliminate smoking and minimising soot forming on the container.

WHERE TO BURN YOUR CANDLE

Burn your candle on an appropriate flat heat-resistant surface in a draft free area away from pets, children and flammable material as the glass may become hot. Never move a burning candle. Ensure candle is extinguished, wax is solid and jar is cold before handling.

NEVER LEAVE CANDLES UNATTENDED

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.

STOP USING YOUR CANDLE

WHEN THERE IS APPROXIMATELY 2CM OF WAX REMAINING IN THE VESSEL TO AVOID POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARD OR CRACKING OF YOUR VESSEL.

HOW TO STORE YOUR SOY CANDLES

Candles are sensitive to temperature and sunlight. Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Enjoy xoxo
